SOULJOURNERS is a young dynamic Progressive Rock/Metal Band that has created quite a buzz in the music industry in the past couple of years. Voted “Best of The Fest” out of 500 bands at the Temecula Valley International Film Festival 2009, also Voted Best Live Band and Best Rock Band by the 2007 Inland Empire Music Awards and Best High School Band in 2006 by the Southern California Music Awards. Souljourners has just completed their second independent U.S. tour. This talented band in the few short years they have been together, has played over 350 shows and shared the stage with such well known acts as: Adler’s Appetite, Kings X, Primal Fear, Michael Schenker, Ashes Divide, Rocket Scientists, John Ford of The Strawbs, Powder, Dick Dale, The Young Dubliners and many others. Souljourners internet presence is overwhelming with over 50,000 fans on Myspace, close to 250,000 thousand plays and 35,000 plus views on YouTube.
Souljourners debut album MIND CONTROL has received rave reviews by dozens of music magazines and fanzines from all over the globe and continues to climb in popularity. The album, which was produced by Frank Gryner (Tommy Lee, Rob Zombie, Bon Jovi, A Perfect Circle, etc.) and also includes Phil Collen, guitarist from Def Leppard, was chosen by several music forums and websites as one of the Top Ten albums of 2008. Souljourners has been interviewed and featured in multiple music magazines including: Guitar World, MUEN, HM, Heaven’s Metal, The Prog Files, and The Sea of Tranquility.
